CRIMSON STAR EMPORIUM’S BASIC
RESOURCE LIST
This is a basic list to help get you started on some of the tools and books you should probably research and invest in if you're looking to get into pattern making. A Grand Resource List will be made available on my Patreon at a later date. I will also try to update this list with my shop links as I get more items in.
TOOLS:

- Another good width is 36"

- Scissors
- Good idea to get a regular 8” Dressmaking Shears, and a 4” Clipping shears; (Optional are pinking shears)
- Good: Fiskars ($3.99-$46.99)
- Best: Ginghers ($16.99-$69.99)
- Pins
- There are many times for different kinds of fabric (lightweight vs heavyweight)
- Can be found at any craft store, or online
- Needles
- Same as pins, many kinds for different projects
- Would suggest at least a Schmetz Universal Needle in size 80/12 and a set of assorted hand needles

- Roxy Forms ($285-$545): http://www.mannequinmadness.com/collections/dress-forms
- Adjustable forms aren’t ideal but could also work (static forms are awesome and you can always buy the Fabulous Fitting system adjustable pads to add to your form)
